Easter is a Christian festival that celebrates the rebirth
of Jesus Christ. This festival was celebrated since the 2nd century. The name
Easter comes from Eostre (pronounced yo'ster), an ancient Anglo-Saxon goddess.
During pagan times, an annual spring festival was held in her honor. The season
of Easter lasts for six weeks and begins sometime around March or April. For
